Backup your server's data locally and remotely. This creates data redundancy, and increases your data's safety.
The first step involves backing up your local data to the NASadapter server. This is performed with the use of NASadapter's backup software or your local backup software. Once this has been completed, the local and remote NASadapters will synchronize their data together at the scheduled time. After which the data on the remote NASadapter can be backup.

In the event of a file server outage, the data located on the local NASadapter server may be accessed to prevent business disruption. Once the file server has been recovered, the data can be restored from the local NASadapter server.
In the event of an outage which affects both the file and local NASadapter servers, the data located on the remote server may be accessed to prevent business disruption. Once the file and local NASadapter servers have been recovered, the data can be restored from the remote NASadapater server.
